Empowering Women With Education
Empowering Women
With Education
While great strides have been made in achieving equality, on average, women still face more workplace discrimination and harassment, are more often the victim of sexual-assault or domestic violence, and are more likely to experience societal discrimination (such as the Pink Tax). We want to do our part to help by partnering with a local domestic violence shelter but also provide more resources for women facing adversities.
More Resources
Please see some resources that we have found to help other women.
Global Network of Women’s Shelters
The Global Network of Women’s Shelters is a voice for survivors and the shelters that serve them. The organization strives to strengthen and unite the women’s shelter movement on a global scale to end violence against women and their children.
Women’s Shelter Locator
Womenshelters.org helps combat homelessness among women and their families by providing resources for housing and shelters, no matter the circumstances. If you are in need of emergency shelter please see this resource from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development or domesticshelters.org.
